U.S. Capitol Hill Internship

Zach was selected as one of five members of U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema’s Fall 2022 intern cohort. Among the Senate’s busiest offices, interns were responsible for direct communication with constituents, phone-banking, press clipping, policy analysis, attending congressional committee hearings, and conducting tours of the National Capitol. Zach was tasked with researching two of the session’s most critical pieces of legislation: the Inflation Reduction Act and the Respect for Marriage Act.
